You can’t waste time over missing something in the past. Life changes, people grow up and people grow apart, and you accept that. Yet you still can’t stop thinking of how good it used to be; afraid you’d never experience it again, afraid you’ve already lived it and already lost it.

Drill appreciation everyday like a mantra in your head. Remind yourself how lucky you are everyday. If you forget to drill your appreciation will start to erode just like jiu jitsu technique. If you forget to drill appreciation you will end up believing lies and act like a dick. Most people don’t realize how lucky they are until they get a terminal disease or end up in prison. The goal is the realize how lucky you are without having to go through that. It ain’t easy, takes lots of drilling to see through the cloud of lies and ungratefulness.

So glad I saw this quote today. I was so annoyed at work today about things I should actually be super grateful to have an opportunity to be around.

Just be honest with me or stay away from me. It’s not that difficult.
